Transferring files to and from your computer is convenient and fast. Plug the ICD-PX470 directly into a USB port for immediate connection, without a USB cable. Recording names display the date, allowing you to quickly find files recorded on a specific date. Open the calendar to search by date and find the recording you are looking for.

Transcribing conversations in writing is made easy with the read-to-transcribe mode. Easily move forward or backward in a track, or create cues to find your way around more easily. Digital amplitude adjustment even lets you slow down playback speed to hear content in detail. Filter out low-frequency background noise when recording. Unwanted noise sources (spotlights, traffic or wind) can be filtered out to improve the clarity of voices while listening.

Choose from two common file formats for your recordings. Linear PCM files are larger but capture more detail. They are perfect for recording music. Mp3 files are compressed but require less memory, which makes them preferable for recording long lectures and meetings. The ICD-PX470 recorder also plays MP3 and PCM files in CD-like quality, allowing you to listen to your favorite songs in music player mode.
