The composition of the motherboard

• Socket

It houses the processor (CPU). The motherboard socket ensures perfect communication between the various components of the computer (processor, graphics card, hard disk, etc.). Intel motherboards are socket 1151 or socket 2066. For AMD motherboards, choose a board with socket AM4 or socket TR4.
