The Z790 chipset on socket 1700 is designed to maximize the performance of 12th generation Intel processors. In order to use increasingly powerful processors, MSI has integrated larger radiators, thermal pads and a new printed circuit design (6-layer PCB) which will guarantee optimal operation, even for processors the most powerful.
