After several tests on different surfaces, Zowie by BenQ has developed with the Zowie EC1-B e-sports mouse , an ergonomic wired right-handed mouse to best adapt to everyone's morphology and way of playing. The Zowie EC1-B and EC2-B by BenQ mice keep the same shape and size as the base EC series while introducing the FK series sensor.

Most mice offer an information transmission rate of 125 Hz, artificially increased to 500 or 1000 Hz, thanks to an often resource-intensive driver. Zowie EC mice are the only ones to offer 1000 Hz transmission as standard, without having to install any drivers.

An optimized optical wheel

Unlike all other mice, which generally use a mechanical wheel (often cheap), the Benq Zowie EC1-B mouse incorporates a 24-pitch optical wheel instead of 16 for the EC versions for longer life, better responsiveness and greater precision. With almost all mice on the market, the cursor moves when you lift it to put it back in the center of the mat. In professional competitions, this kind of inaccuracy is unacceptable and can be very expensive. This is why Zowie has developed a unique optical technology that reduces the distance at which the sensor stops working to 1.5 mm (compared to 2 cm on average on a conventional mouse).
